The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are seeking a samsung robot vacuum cleaner mop and vacuum that's middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks certain of the more advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the base of charging. This shark iq robot vacuum can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is in place, you can start cleaning automatically with just one button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice statement, but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your entire home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has, which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and moves along.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and also washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right like the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create and combine rooms to modify how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first pass. It can also remove wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and cheap mop and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect different types of flooring and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. But while these functions are nice to have however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category which could make it a little more expensive than some homeowners need.

Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it to its base station. The center of the control panel is a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
